Legends AD902: TC-130G Fat Albert

TC-130G Hercules BuNo 151891 began service with the U.S. Navy in 1964 as a C-130G before being converted to an EC-130G for the TACAMO (Take Charge and Move Out) mission. The aircraft was redesignated TC-130G in 1990 and assigned to the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels flight demonstration squadron as “Fat Albert,” transporting personnel and equipment to air shows from 1991 to 2002. After nearly four decades of service, the aircraft was retired and placed on display at the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida. The aircraft was ultimately scrapped in 2025. This Air Drop was cut from a propeller blade removed during the scrapping process.
