Legends AD808: Westland Lynx AH.7

The Westland Lynx entered service in the late 1970s as a fast, highly maneuverable multi-role helicopter designed for utility transport, battlefield support, reconnaissance, and anti-tank missions. Developed from a British Army requirement and built by Westland Helicopters, the Lynx became known for its agility and speed, even setting a world helicopter speed record in 1986. Operated by both the Army Air Corps and the Royal Navy, the Lynx saw extensive operational service in conflicts including the Gulf War, the Balkans, Iraq, and Afghanistan, earning a reputation as one of Britain's most successful rotary-wing aircraft before being gradually replaced by the AgustaWestland Wildcat.
