Legends AD1006: EB-57E Canberra

Legends AD1006 is a boneyard fresh release. Derived from the B-57E, the EB-57Es were equipped with sophisticated radar-jamming and electronic countermeasures equipment and simulated enemy attacks to evaluate American air defense systems and train interceptor crews. During exercises, EB-57Es challenged interceptors such as the F-102 Delta Dagger and F-106 Delta Dart, employing radar jamming and chaff to evade detection and interception.

SPECIFICATIONS

AD1006 has been cut from the canopy of EB-57E 55-4300. The aircraft's serial number was stenciled on the canopy in multiple locations. Interestingly, the canopy started life on a B-57B and some Air Drops feature remnants of this original camo paint in addition to the grey.

Sheet 1: The first 100 EB-57E Air Drops will make up Sheet 1. Up for grabs are Data Plates, Rivet Holes, and Solid Air Drops. All are aluminum.

Slab: All Air Drops can be purchased as a Slab, which preserves the Air Drop in a magnetic slab case sealed with serialized security sticker. Scroll through the product pics to see the Slab magnetic case.
