AD1005 has been cut from a wing removed from S/N 56-0784. This aircraft served with several U.S. interceptor units, including the Arizona Air National Guard’s 197th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron. During the Berlin Crisis of 1961, 56-0784 deployed with the 197th to Ramstein Air Base, West Germany, where the squadron stood air-defense alert as part of the American reinforcement of NATO.
We discovered this wing in a boneyard earlier this year.
AD1005 features art by 8380 Laboratories.
Sheets:
TOPAS (Sheet 1): TOPAS (The Original Production Archive Sheet) Air Drops are the first made cards and come sealed in a magnetic case with a metallic security sticker. Located inside the magnetic case is an NFC tag that is embedded with a locator sheet that will show you exactly where your Air Drop was cut from.
Each TOPAS Air Drop ships in a tin featuring the card art, a serialized TOPAS COA, a sticker.
AD1005 TOPAS Air Drops are offered in Rivet Hole (Air Drops that feature a rivet hole, printed on a matte silver card), Multicolor, Data Plate (on a shiny silver card), and Solid (Solid colors). There are 5 Opal (holographic) Air Drops randomly fulfilled amongst Solid orders. These contain skin pieces that feature unique finishes or combinations of colors. The product photo for TOPAS shows all TOPAS variants with only the Data Plate shown in the slab case. All variants will ship in a magnetic slab with a security sticker.
TOPAS Full Set: 2 TOPAS Full Sets are offered that ship with all 4 TOPAS variants listed above plus a fifth guaranteed TOPAS Opal Air Drop.
Sheet 2+: Our Standard Issue Air Drops are identical to TOPAS Air Drops in construction, but ship in a custom bag and do not come with the case, NFC, or registry card. AD1005 Standard Air Drops are randomly fulfilled. Additionally, 4 Data Plate Air Drops, 5 Rivet Hole Air Drops, and 5 Opal holographic Air Drops are mixed into Sheet 2 and will be randomly fulfilled amongst Sheet 2 orders.
