Series 10 Full Series (9 total Air Drops) is also listed with AD1004. The Full Series comes with all 8 Series 10 Air Drops plus a randomly fulfilled Air Drop. Full Series (F-14D) comes with an F-14D AD1003. Full Series 10 (F-14A) comes with a card featuring identical art but has been cut from BuNo 159019. AD1003 in the F-14A variation is also offered individually. When we fulfill Series 10 Air Drops you will be given the option to have them ship in Slab cases or the standard sealed bag. Series 10 Full Series will ship with a Stencil AD1004. All previously released and future Series 10 Air Drops will be randomly fulfilled.

Only 50 C-133 Cargomasters were built, and just one wore NASA markings for Apollo Earth Landing System testing: C-133A S/N 54-0136, better known as NASA 928.

54-0136 served with NASA as NASA 928 during the Apollo program and was specially modified to support Earth Landing System testing. The aircraft carried full-scale boilerplate Command Modules beneath its fuselage and released them over the parachute test range at Naval Air Facility El Centro, helping engineers develop and validate the system that would ultimately return Apollo crews safely to Earth.

SPECIFICATIONS

AD1004 has been cut from the rudder of C-133A 54-0136 (NASA 928) and the Main Parachute Deployment Bag used during ELS Test 86-1. AD1004 is made to order, meaning we will only make enough to satisfy orders. If this listing is active, the window to order is open. Once we fulfill orders the production will close. 

Sheet 1: This first order window will be comprised of Sheet 1 Air Drops. Any later production runs will be Sheet 2, 3 and so on. Sheet 1 is offered in 3 variations: Solid (solid swatches of bag fabric and solid color C-133 rudder relics), Stencil (blue stenciled bag fabric with colored (Black or Yellow or both) C-133 rudder relics, and Data Plate (bag Data Tag fabric pieces and multicolor rudder relics).

Slab: All Air Drops can be purchased as a Slab, which preserves the Air Drop in a magnetic slab case sealed with serialized security sticker. Scroll through the product pics to see the Slab magnetic case.
