Colonel C.B. Thompson is a decorated U.S. Air Force pilot who logged over 1,600 flight hours in the SR-71 Blackbird and also flew the U-2 Dragon Lady and RB-57F Canberra. Known among his peers for his calm demeanor under pressure, Thompson was the go-to guy for high-risk strategic intelligence missions that required precision timing and absolute discretion. Nearing retirement in the mid-1990s, he was recruited by DEVOC and officially joined the Black Tigers of DEV4 in 1995. Drawn by the challenge and the promise of flying experimental platforms, Thomas’ experience with extreme-altitude and high-speed aircraft made him one of its most trusted and enigmatic pilots of DEV4.
